Terms of Use
Effective 2026-05-06. Please read these before using the site.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of My Mehndi Designs (the "site"), available
at https://mymehndidesigns.com and operated by
My Mehndi Designs
("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do
not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
My Mehndi Designs is a free, ad-supported reference catalogue of mehndi (henna) designs and editorial articles. We do not sell products, run a marketplace, take bookings, or offer professional artist services through this site.
Acceptable use
You may browse, read, and link to anything on the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may save and print individual pages for your own reference. You may share links freely.
You agree not to:
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the catalogue, our photography, or our written content for republication.
- Use our content to train a machine-learning model without our written consent.
- Strip credits, watermarks, or attribution from our images.
- Frame, hotlink to, or pass off our content as your own.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or evade rate limits.
- Use the site in any way that violates law in your country or in India.
Image and content rights
All photography, illustrations, and written content on the site are owned by us or used under licence, unless explicitly credited otherwise. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially use this material without our written permission.
Personal-use exceptions: you may save a single design image to a mood board (Pinterest, a Notes app, a wedding planner) and you may take a printed copy to an artist as a reference for your own mehndi. You may not republish images on a public website, sell prints, or use them as training data for an AI model.
If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, write to contact@mymehndidesigns.com with the URL of the page, identification of the work, and proof of ownership. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Mehndi and your skin
The site provides general information about natural henna application, traditions, and design vocabulary. It is not medical or professional advice. People can react to anything applied to skin — even pure plant-based henna — and "black henna" sold in many markets contains paraphenylenediamine (PPD), a strong sensitiser that can cause severe reactions. Patch-test before any first application, avoid black henna entirely, and consult a doctor if you experience an unusual reaction. We are not responsible for the outcome of designs you apply.
Third-party links and ads
The site contains links to other websites and displays ads served by third-party networks. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make reasonable efforts to keep the catalogue accurate and the site online, but we do not guarantee that any information is complete, current, or error-free, nor that the site will be uninterrupted or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the site, including loss of profit, data, or goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the equivalent in local currency.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we will post a notice on the homepage for a reasonable period. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these terms or the site, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
