What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to https://mymehndidesigns.com and not to any third-party site we link to.

Information we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. The categories below are everything that flows through this site today.

• Information you provide. If you write to us at the contact email above, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and follow up. We do not have user accounts, comments, or sign-ups.
• Automatic technical information. Like every site on the web, our hosting provider records standard server logs: your IP address, the page you requested, the referring URL, the timestamp, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are retained for a short rolling window for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics. We plan to add a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are read, how readers arrive, and which designs are most popular. Analytics data will be aggregated; we will not build individual profiles and will not sell raw events. Analytics is not yet active.
• Advertising cookies. Display advertising is not yet active on this site. Once we enable it, our ad partner (Google AdSense) and its partners may set cookies to serve, measure, and personalise ads. Details and your choices are in the "Advertising" section below.

Why we use it

• To deliver the page you asked for.
• To understand which designs and articles are read and saved, so we can improve the catalogue.
• To detect abuse, scraping, and security incidents on the server.
• To fund the site through display advertising once advertising is enabled.
• To reply to messages you send us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to train any third-party AI model.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site currently sets no tracking cookies. The only data stored locally is your cookie banner preference, saved in localStorage under the key mmd-cookie-consent — this is not a cookie and is never transmitted to our servers. Once analytics and advertising are enabled, the following additional cookies will apply:

• Analytics cookies. Set by our analytics provider to count page views and understand traffic patterns. Data is aggregated and not tied to an identifiable individual.
• Advertising cookies. Set by Google AdSense and its partners to serve, measure, and personalise ads. For readers in the EEA, UK, and other regulated regions, these cookies will only be set after you give consent via Google Funding Choices, the consent management tool we use. For all other readers, you can decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Advertising

Display advertising is not yet active. When we enable it, we will use Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Personalised advertising will be subject to your consent where the law requires it. For EEA and UK readers, we will use Google Funding Choices as our consent management platform, which will present a separate consent prompt before any personalised ad cookies are set.

Even if you opt out of personalised advertising, you will still see ads. They will simply be less relevant to you.

How long we keep things

Server logs are retained for a short rolling window (typically thirty days) and then aggregated or discarded. Analytics data is retained only in aggregate form. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and a reasonable period afterwards for our records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time.
• Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@mymehndidesigns.com. We will reply within thirty days and may ask for proof of identity if the request is made on someone else's behalf.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to the contact email and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our hosting and ad partners operate globally, which means data described in this policy may be processed outside your country. We rely on the standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards published by those providers.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the homepage for a reasonable period. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
