My Mehndi Designs is funded by display advertising. That's the only paid relationship on the site. This page lists what that means in practice and what we don't do.

What we do

• Display ads. We participate in Google AdSense and may join an additional ad network (e.g. Mediavine, Raptive) once the site reaches the traffic threshold those networks require. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content and are labelled as advertisements where the ad network requires labelling.
• Cookies for ad delivery. Ad partners set cookies to deliver, measure, and personalise advertising. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set. The full mechanics are described in our privacy policy.

What we don't do

• No affiliate links. We do not earn commission when you click out from this site. Outbound links go to sources we think are useful — not to anyone who is paying us.
• No sponsored content. We do not accept payment to feature a design, an artist, a salon, a brand, or a product in the catalogue or in any article.
• No paid placements in lists. When we rank or order designs, the order reflects editorial judgement — relevance, occasion, season — not money.
• No "freebies" for coverage. If a salon or artist sends us product or offers free service in exchange for a feature, we decline. If we ever cover a salon or artist, we paid full price like anyone else, or we credit them as part of a published collaboration with the relationship disclosed at the top of the article.
• No selling your data. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
• No e-commerce. The site does not sell products, take bookings, or run a marketplace.

If anything ever changes

If we ever introduce affiliate links, sponsored content, or paid placements, we will say so on this page first, label the arrangement clearly on every page where it applies, and never retro-apply it to existing editorial content.
